Please continue to wear a face mask when visiting our surgery

We would like to remind patients that, in order to safeguard the health of other patients and practice staff, we are requesting that they wear a face covering when visiting our Practice.

Thanks to those who already do so. The wearing of a face covering is a small, but vital step in reducing the transmission of the Covid-19 virus, which people can unknowingly carry and spread without showing symptoms themselves.

Our staff are continuing to see patients face to face, but those who refuse to wear a mask mean that there could be transmission either in the waiting area or consultation room, which could affect both vulnerable patients, staff and our ability to continue to provide the service that we are currently able to.

"NHS Patients, staff and visitors must continue to wear face coverings in healthcare settings"

Infection Prevention Control guidance advises that patients and visitors across all healthcare settings must wear a face covering, providing it is tolerated and is not detrimental to their medical or care needs.

Thank you for your continued understanding.
