Free Art Therapy for adults
Fully funded art therapy sessions are being run for adults experiencing difficulties with emotional health and wellbeing. The 12 sessions, which will be facilitated by art therapist Kate Hilliard, run on Thursdays from 4.30 to 6pm from 5 May to 21 July.
To be eligible you need to be a patient registered at Yaxley, Wansford, King’s Cliffe, Oundle, Old Fletton, Stanground or New Queen Street Surgeries.
The sessions are ideal for those finding it difficult to talk about how they feel, and for those not already attending counselling. No artistic skills are necessary, the group is for anyone looking for a way to express their thoughts and feelings using art materials. All art equipment and refreshments will be provided and your artwork will belong to you.
Participants are asked to attend all 12 sessions and provide anonymous feedback before, midway and after the course.
Please send all enquiries, including your name and GP surgery to the following email Referrals-to-south.peterborough-groups@nhs.net
