Art Therapy Group for Women

A fully funded Art Therapy Group for women is coming to Wittering

For people registered within South Peterborough Primary Care Network. This includes Wansford and King’s Cliffe, Yaxley, New Queens Street and Old Fletton surgeries.

Hi I am Kate, I am an Art therapist.

Your local health team have noticed that there is a need for both mental health and emotional well-being support for women in your area. We have decided to run a group to help women struggling with any of the following issues:

To manage feelings of stress, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem or loneliness
Using unhelpful behaviours such as drinking alcohol, using non-prescribed drugs, gambling and eating too much to numb or distract from hard-to-manage thoughts and feelings
Finding it hard to talk about emotions, experiences and thoughts

Does this sound like you? The group is designed to help and support women make positive changes to their lives, that perhaps, they have found difficult to make on their own.

The group starts on 5th January and ends on 23rd March 2023, it takes place every Thursday evening from 5:30pm - 7pm, at The Community Learning Centre, St Georges Road, Wittering PE8 6DL.

If you are interested or would like further details, please contact Pip Fairhall, Health and Wellbeing Coach as soon as possible.

Please include your name and contact number and Pip will give you a call you to answer your questions and take a few details about you.

  • There are limited spaces so please get in touch as soon as possible to secure your place.
  • No artistic skill is required for this group to be of benefit.
