Flu Vaccination Programme 2022

For those patients eligible for an annual flu vaccination, we are planning to hold our flu clinics

Aged 65 and over

  • Saturday 8th October - 9.00am - 11.00am (access via the practice car park)
  • Wednesday 12th October - 3.00pm to 5.15pm (access via main entrance)

Aged 18-64 and in the at risk groups

  • Saturday 15th October - 9.00am - 11.00am (access via the practice car park)
  • Wednesday 19th October - 3.00pm to 5.15pm (access via main entrance)

Please note the above dates are subject to vaccine availability/delivery and may change at a short notice.

  • Attendance will be by invitation only.
  • Please wear a face covering, unless exempt.
  • Wear clothing with loose sleeves.
  • Please download the free myGP app in advance. Once set up, it only takes 2 clicks to access your barcode from Profile tab which will minimise waiting time on the day. Please save a screen shot of your barcode on your phone to avoid delays or bring your letter with you.
  • Prepare to wait outside, bring an umbrella and wear suitable clothing. We are taking measures to minimise the need to queue for prolonged periods of time but this could still be a possibility.
  • Wherever possible we ask that patients attend the clinic alone as space is limited to enable us to maintain social distancing.  Those patients who need to be accompanied by a carer are asked to attend with a maximum of one carer.
  • If you are driving to the surgery, we would also suggest you leave home in sufficient time to allow time to park.

If the answer to any of the following questions is ‘yes’ you will not be able to be vaccinated and should not attend:

Do you have any of the following symptoms?

  • high temperature or fever
  • new, continuous cough
  • a loss or alteration to taste or smell

Children’s flu vaccine delivery and clinic dates yet to be confirmed.
